Tsilili Tsipouro is the first tsipouro that was distilled in the Thessaly region. Today, the Thessaly area is considered to be the largest tsipouro production area in Greece. The Tsililis family from Raxa/ Trikala, who have been running their own winery and associated distillery since 1989, were also the first family to establish tsipouro from Thessaly with the geographical indication of origin that is now valid by the EU. Therefore, this Tsipouro Tsilili with this geographical indication of origin "Thessaly" is also a product recognized by the EU.
The Tsipouro Tsilili is made from exquisite and aromatic grape varieties, which only come from selected wineries in the Thessaly region. The production takes place in small copper cauldrons and involves a long-lasting process.
