Tea from Greece
Greek tea.
Although the Greeks use a wide variety of herbs to prepare them from tea, the most common is the Greek shepherd's tea. This - also called mountain tea - grows at an altitude of about 1000 meters. It is obtained from almost 150 species of the Sideritis plant and has been known for its stimulating and beneficial effects since ancient times. Mountain tea is drunk hot, but also cold and has valuable ingredients that have made it known far beyond the Mediterranean. Side effects of mountain tea are not known until now.
