Mega Spileo III, a dry white cuvée wine.

This cuvée wine stands out for its light, straw yellow color and captivates the nose with the intense well-balanced notes of white flowers, white nectarine, basil and coconut butter. On the palate it is rather complex and the aftertaste is erlang and very refreshing. All three included grape varieties Malagouzia, Chardonnay and Assyrtiko are vinified separately and stored in oak barrels for different lengths of time before they are skillfully brought together in this Mega Spileo.
Enjoy this wine with a good fish dish, or on its own as a unique wine experience.

The Mega Spileo winery was first mentioned in a document in 1550. At that time the estate belonged to a monastery whose monks dedicated themselves to the cultivation of excellent wines. Wine production was practiced there until the end of the 1980s, when it was interrupted by the decreasing number of monks. Finally, wine cultivation resumed in 1999, producing premium wines from grape varieties such as Mavrodafne, Mavro Kalavritino, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Lagorthi, Assyrtiko, Malagousia and Riesling. To this day, the Mega Spileo winery has a protected geographical indication of origin.
