Fresh mackerel is one of the main traditional fish dishes in Greece. The mackerel not only has a very aromatic taste, but is also considered a very nutritious fish. Extremely healthy, as mackerel contains a lot of Omega3 fatty acids and a high proportion of protein.

For this mackerel fillet "Flokos", fish of the highest quality is used only. The selected fishing areas for raw fish are in the open sea of the north-east Atlantic. With it, the producer Konva S.A. from Greece, fulfills the "Trata" guidelines: Trata means "track and trace your fish" and stands for independent MSC-certified and sustainable fishing. During production the selected, small fillets with white tender meat are subjected to strict controls. This is the only way to create an excellent ready-made meal of the highest quality.
