Since 1888 Metaxa has been produced and today it is one of the most popular original Greek spirits. After the Metaxa, which has been aged for 30 years, this Metaxa 12 Stars is the second finest premium product from Metaxa and was only available in Greece for many years.
The Metaxa 12 Stars is a spirit with the color of shiny amber. Through a 12-year, monitored aging in French wooden barrels made of limousine oak, this distillate gets its maturity and its unmistakable character.
This metaxa cannot be referred to as a conventional brandy. In terms of taste, this Metaxa combines the aromas of exquisite muscatel wines, as well as wood, vanilla, orange peel and other herbal ingredients that ensure a slight relaxation. It has a bouquet of May roses, has an elegant full taste and a long, aromatic finish.
Enjoy this noble Metaxa pure with room temperature or on ice. It also goes very well with hot coffee or cocoa.
