This product is a delicious, semi-hard cheese that is marinated in brine during production. Halloumi cheese is slightly similar to Italian mozzarella, but its taste is closest to Greek feta cheese. It is spicier than mozzarella and, in contrast to feta, halloumi is much milder and less salty.

Fresh halloumi can be used as a topping on bread and as an ingredient it also refines (oriental) salads and other dishes. Due to its firm structure, which remains even when heated, this Halloumi cheese is particularly suitable for grilling or roasting.
Since the Hallouimi grill cheese does not contain any lactic acid bacteria, it is also suitable for vegans.

In the Mediterranean region, the enjoyment and production of halloumi cheese has old traditional roots.
