Whether grown in dry or irrigated fields, these chickpeas display exceptional adaptability to various soil types, even in very arid conditions.

The Larissa Megalosperma chickpeas are distinguished by their creamy texture, thin skin, and earthy flavor. They can be used in a versatile range of dishes, whether in the oven, salads, soups, as an appetizer, pâté, or even as hearty chickpea meatballs. With a soaking time of 16-24 hours and a cooking time of 75-90 minutes on the stove (or 60-75 minutes on the stove and an additional 20 minutes in a preheated oven), they are easy to prepare.
