Ouzo applies as the Greek national drink. The Ouzo Plomari is one of the anise liqueurs and has long been considered the "number one" among the Greek ouzo varieties. Because of its unique, spicy, anise-containing aroma, Ouzo Plomari is drunk by many locals, but is also becoming increasingly popular with tourists.

Ouzo Plomari is produced from the Isidoros Arvanitis distillery in the beautiful town of Plomari - the place where Ouzo was produced first by Arvanitis family in 1894.
The unique taste of this Ouzo Plomari arises from the balanced composition of soft spring water, anise from Lisvori (considered one of the best varieties of anise worldwide), fennel, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt and various herbs from Lesbos. However, the exact traditional repetition has been a well-kept family secret for generations and is based on long-established traditions and experience.

Enjoy the Ouzo Plomari with a little ice and a little water as an aperitif, or just as a pure drinking pleasure. After eating it is recommended as a "degisti" or as a "stomach clearer".
Advice: Drink Ouzo Plomari cold, but never ice-cold.
