This Xinomavro from Alpha Estate has a bright purple-red color. The bouquet captivates with the taste of red berries, blackberries, raspberries, and floral and spice aromas (vanilla, pepper, cloves). The red wine is full-bodied, with balanced acidity and an intense quince aroma on the finish.

The grapes are cultivated at an altitude of 620-690 meters in the Amyndeo wine-growing region (Northwest Macedonia) - a region with a protected geographical indication of origin. The Alpha Estate winery is part of the ecological network of protected areas "Natura 2000", which was launched by the European Union. Alpha observes the strict requirements for sustainable cultivation and harmony with natural resources. This Xinomavro is stored and matured in French barrique oak barrels for 12 months and in bottles for a further 14 months.

The Xinomavro goes very well with red grilled meat, spicy sausage and baked peppers, or with rabbit dishes and also with feta and spicy hard cheeses.
