Kolios Classic - this traditional semi-hard cheese is one of the best-known and most popular cheeses in Greece. To this day it is made according to a traditional family recipe. The taste is a mild, slightly salty cheese with a very aromatic note. It unfolds its quality with fresh bread or as a supplement to Greek meze, such as peppers, olives or tomatoes. As an accompaniment to a Greek ouzo or tsipouro, it is of course suitable also.

The headquarters of the traditional company Kolios, which has been family-run for 70 years, is located in the city of Kilkis, in the northern Greek region of Macedonia, about 60 km from Thessaloniki. Kolios has a diverse range of Greek cheeses and yoghurts made from fresh, sheep, goat and cow milk. Of course, this also includes feta cheese with a protected designation of origin, as well as organic feta cheese and barrel-aged feta cheese.
